Well, I am following spouse sponsorship forum for quite a long time, people over there have been sending emails and letters to ministers and MPs. I applied for my wife last year and I am here to follow up for my brother's student visa... I suggest you to send email to immigration minister and prime minister.
immigration minister (Kutta Kenney): minister @ cic.gc.ca, kennej @ parl.gc.ca
Prime minister: pm @ pm.gc.ca
I am not sure whether you will be getting a reply from ministers or not, I sent an email to Kutta Kenney on March 1, 2011. I got an acknowledgment that I should get a reply within 10 to 30 days. But due to election, Kutta Kenney was so busy that he did have time to write me back... So, I sent him another mail one week ago and hoping to hear something this time...
Mostly people who have applied for PR @ CHC-Islamabad write emails to ministers, but as you know that we do not have enough time left and classes are going to start soon for most of us, so I would recommend that you do the same so that immigration people know that people are having issues...
Jani when i mailed them the first time they acknowledged me immediately. when i mailed the 2nd time they did it after a day and now i have mailed them twice again but no response... not even the acknowledgment.. anyways keep tryin man.. who knows...

I found out today from Mps office that they haven't created my brothers file. They could not find any record in the system which means that they haven't opened my brothers mail. Its been 6 weeks now.
