Hello. I’m trying to apply for a study permit but I’ve been faced with a dilemma. I’m a Bangladeshi whose current country of residence is UAE but I’m currently in my home country for a 2 month stay (I leave on the 12th of October) so I’m applying from there. I’ve selected ‘Country or territory where applying’ as Bangladesh and status as ‘Citizen’ but the IMM1294 form requires me to enter ‘From’ and ‘To’ dates. I suppose the 'From' date would be my date of birth because I’ve been a Bangladeshi since birth but I’m not sure what to put as the ‘To’ date. I’ve considered selecting ‘Visitor’ status as I’m currently on a visit but I’m not here via a visitor visa so I’m not sure if this would be appropriate… Please someone help?

Hi, I have the same dilemma as you, just want to ask what did you put on the ‘To’ date as a Citizen of the country where you are applying on Question 9?
I am also currently not in my home country but I want to submit my application in my home country.
Hi! If I remember accurately, there was an “Other” option, I selected that and wrote “Visiting citizen” with from date as when I entered the country and to date as when I’ll be going back to my country of residence. That worked for me and I got approved. Hope that helps!
