i have applied SP + 2 kids SP ( 6 and 2 years) and SOWP. medical passed. biometrics done. me , kids SP all got AIP. additional doc request for SOWP . after that no status
that’s good sign, actually they usually request passport after medical and biometric but because of covid and travel restrictions they might be holding last step for now
can you guys include what embassy/country granted you AIP or approval?
so we have idea which of these embassies are actively granting these AIPs and approvals for families.
Hello guys, I applied for study permit with my family( Spouse and three kids), in first week of August 2020, and I received my AIP first week of September,2020.I have also ordered for my GCMS to further check the Vo's comments on my application.

I applied for SP with SOWP for my husband. I am a transfer student from US college and will finish my Bachelors in Canada. I received SP approval on August 28th in Information letter. However, my passport was not requested because of travel restrictions. My husband has to do a follow up screening on September 12th (medical exam). I applied for both of us on August 8th from Ukraine
Hello, am glad to hear that you are having some positive outcome regarding your SP application and sure you will get the same for your husband.
I am Eritrean living in Italy with my wife. I have been accepted for PhD with the full fund in Canada. I am on my way to apply for SP for me and SOWP for my wife together. Could you please let me know the criteria to apply for SOWP? Like the number of funds required? Please share your overall advice with me.

you as the main applicant will be the basis for both of your application approval or refusal if you apply at the same time.
IRCC only required minimum 4K CAD for your spouse and of course plus plane tickets.

Yes, that will be good enough to show between 20-30k. Also show spouse profile strength in client information i.e. her education, background, current job, and apply for SOWP.
Although this is not mandatory to show I feel it make the case strong that SOWP will adjust easily as a Ph.D is a long journey.
