Yea true. I applied on 6th July SDS online, Biometrics done on 12th July, Medical on 31st July. I received 2 correspondence letters on 6th August but no update after that.
Upon enquiring, they just said the final decision is taken and I would be notified soon. Don't know what's taking so long. It's been almost 2 months.
Anyone else facing similar situation?

Yh our timeline is almost same like mine is: Application done: 10th July
Biometrics done: 15th July
Medical approved: 29th July
Biometric corresponding letter: 7th August
Till now all it shows that my background check, eligibility and final decision all are underprocess.
Plus my college starts on 3rd September,
Well I’ve send them web form as well day before yesterday and didn’t get any message yet and since u got a msg from them saying so, I guess the best we can do is wait

for someone who doesn't have the gckey the passport request is identified in mail itself of is it still a new message in your account mail

I thought so too but it's not in spam. Even the application status in gc key shows Background verification and final decision in progress.
