I find it weird. People who applied between 19th and 24th July are not getting any response, but those who applied around 29th and 30th July are.

Yeah, i applied on 18th and still waiting. But my friends applied between 22 and 26, and got their ppr.

Same, and i gave bio on 30th, but yet again, stressing won't help, better late than never, let's go to party

I submitted my file on 1st august online
Biometrix done on 5th august
Medical is updated but biometrix is not updated till now ...my classes starts from 3rd september in concordia university..
What i've need to do now ??

I just contacted VFS Global Pakistan to ask them how much time it takes after the passport submission letter? They told me standard processing time is 2-4 weeks. TWO WEEKS?? For those of us who haven't received the approval yet, isn't that a really long time? though it takes 1 week to get the stamped passport back.

Has anyone submitted their passport & received it? How long did it take?

Applied -22 June under sds.
Application processed at Delhi High Commission.

Does eligibility review updates for everyone or they send decision directly.

I applied on 30th July, bio on 1st August, medical passed on 15th August. Review has not started , background check under process.

Dear Applicant,
Thank your for your Email.
All applications for temporary/permanent residence in Canada are subject to statutory requirements, including background checks. These requirements must be satisfied before an applicant may be granted temporary/permanent resident status. We are currently conducting certain background investigations.

Our website, http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/temp.asp, notes the processing times for the different categories of applications and for residents and nationals of certain countries.

Bio 27th july
Medical 7th August
Ppr and bio letter 21st aug 8:45 pm.
Passport submitted 22nd aug.
