This is Sree, below is my timeline info and how the application status is please do explain me what happens in such cases or what necessary action should I take in such case.

Submitted on 18 July
Biometrics on 22 July

Application status shows “your action is required”.

Eligibility -application in progress
Medical-you do not need a medical exam
Additional docs- you do not need Additional docs
Interview- you do not need interview
Biometrics - we need your biometrics to process your application
Background check-we are processing your background check
Final decision-your application is in progress

IRCC is taking 4/5 weeks to process Non SDS visa . Mine came after 4 weeks and my friend got exactly after 5 weeks. So I guess expect something by this Friday or next Monday.

Hello, I have applied for student visa via SDS online from India.
06/22/2019:Application Submission
06/25/2019: Additional Documents Uploaded
06/28/2109: Biometric Updated
07/16/2019: Medical Updated

Since then no update for my application. Classes starting from 09/04/2019. Current status : Reviewing eligibility, background check under process, Additional documents uploaded.

I have enquired for the my application twice via Webform but no update or confirmation email received.
Already 6 weeks are over. Any help, info, suggestion, support is highly welcomed.

I saw few people in this forum getting visa after 60 days. However, IRCC knows that your classes starts from September, so expect to hear good news anytime.

I applied for my study permit on 18th July from Nepal non SDS. At that time the processing times for Nepal was 3 weeks. Now the processing time is 5 weeks. On August 8th, 3 weeks will have passed since I applied so should I send a webform then if I dont receive any update on my application or do I have to now wait 5 weeks to send a webform?

Also has anyone else applied from Nepal? And can anyone give me an idea of when I can expect my decision? I didnt have to give my biometrics because I had already submitted them previously and I gave an upfront medical which was passed on July 31st. My eligibility review hasnt started yet either.

Hey i am also from nepal. Applied online non-sds on june 11. Biometrics completed on 18th june. No updates after that. Gc key says application in process. I sent in a webform inquiry last week, waiting for response.

My other friend going to university of Toronto applied under SDS on 12 July and he got his decision on 5 August to submit Passport to VFS. You should get it anytime.

No other way other that using webform. How many student acknowledgement letter have you received

Not a single acknowledgement till now.

Same. Applied june 11th and biometrics june 18th. After that no updates at all. Already sent webform, waiting for reply and hoping for positive result!

Yes it is.. check cic website they have mentioned that how many immigrants they need each year..
Even they posted data of international students..
And
If u r talking about quota for each country.. no one can tell u except ministry of home affairs or ministry of immigration and refugee.
