Guys finally received original passport request today.
My timeline

Applied online SDS on 9th July.
Medical upfront.
Biometrics on 12th July.
Medical passed on 1st August.
Biometrics correspondence Letter on 2nd August.
Original passport request on 3rd August right now i.e 1:30 AM.

However eligibility of review is still showing we are reviewing your application and background check is still in progress but final decision is showing that you need to submit your passport. Any idea why?

I don't know why, but it changes to approved after the visa is stamped. The same happened to me and now all are approved and stamped passport is in my hand.

I just have to go the vfs office and submit it?

I have the same timeline, can you tell me when your eligibility review began? It began on 29th for me.
I also got the biometric correspondence letter on 29th.
I don't know what the problem is but I still haven't gotten any result.
Ugh I'm really really nervous. ;_;

Hey, you will get two notifications. One for biometric correspondence letter and another for passport request.

In my case first i got biometric correspondence letter and after 2 days i got my passport request and approval.

Before that u only recieved biometrics reminder email?

I just have to go the vfs office and submit it?
No appointments needed?

Yes, no appointment is required. You can just walk in and submit, make sure to see the timing of your local VFS office are some offices have different timings.

I wanted to ask you from which day did you file go in "Reviewing your eligibility" phase.

I did biometric on 12th july.
Medical passed on 24th
Biometric Correspondence Letter on 29th
my file started it's review on 29th as well

I have got no updates after that 20 days are way over. Help me out man. I'm freaking out.

i reapplied on 30th july earlier got refused on 22nd july applied on 9th july, sds online , biometric done 12th , bio correspondence with refusal on 22nd reapplied on 30th.
