Hey bro i just got an update today(7th June) on my gckey saying that i have passed my medical exam and they are reviewing my eligibility. Result anytime soon i think Hoping for an approval this time. #hope.

yes brother now approval letter only as bio-metric correspondence letter you might have received previously only which is valid for ten years.God bless both of us and all eagerly waiting.

Nothing from my end.. for our processing time in Guyana it states 5 weeks... Next week is my 5 weeks... and nothing so far a bit worried. I did not submit upfront medical so I am hoping to hear something soon. Lets hope it is an TGIF day... Let us continue to have faith.

Your applications is still early. Just be patient, a little longer you will hear from them . Let hope for the best and keep praying

Guys i just want to know how much time its take to update biometrics on gckey account. ?I did my biometrics on 5th of july but till then there is no updation in my account regarding biometrics.

I applied with my spouse on May 14th. We didn't do upfront medical and have a few hurdles to overcome in our application. Fingers crossed. No updates yet. I'm assuming it will take longer processing both of our applications together? Where are you applying from?

Hello everyone,

I am applying for an Open Work Permit for my wife and a Study Permit for myself. I had upfront medical exams for my wife and me. I submitted our application on May 23rd, and we already provided our biometrics.

My question is the following: First, I observed that they divided our applications into two distinct submissions in the system. Does this mean that they will be processed separately? Since the processing time of my Study permit in my country (Mexico) is only 3 weeks while the Open Work Permit is up to 15 week, and I need to be in school by August 26th, this would a great help to get to my study permit on time (I need to have this approved before August 26th, the start date of my program).

My second question relates to the current status of our applications. While my Study Permit says that I have passed my medicals, the application of my wife is mute on this regard. It only states that she does not need a medical examination. Does this mean that there is any problem with her medical tests?

I noticed that they updated processing time as of June 4 2019. The last update was since May 21 2019... so hoping this is accurate now...

Please guide me also.....I applied on 30th April in paper based general category & passed medical as on 3rd May, After that it is showing only reviewing eligibility & background check..It has crossed 38 days with the same status...Now please guide me that should I wait for some more time or should I send webform to embassy... Waiting for ur reply...

I would advise to send a web form if you're past your days/weeks of your country processing time. If not just give it some time, in my case there were no updates at all after biometrics request the day after i submitted and that was 56 days in total for me
