"We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements " does this mean eligibility review started for my application or it just a default status? please help. I applied in july 10 under SDS from india.
just got to know that previously the status was "Your application is in process, We will send you a message when we start reviewing your eligibility" and now its changed to "We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements". I hope my eligibility review has started however I haven't receive any email notification regarding this, is it a ghost update?

Yes you will only get notifications if they asked any documents from you or they will send you AIP

You mostly wont get an email. Actually there is no specific way we can expect updates nowadays it seems. Make sure you check GC key account. You may receive your AIP in email as well.

If you get an AIP, they will send you a mail stating " a message about your application is waiting for you" please check your account"!
