student visa processing time

i have applied for student visa on 11 nov 2016 ant till now i didn't get any information from visa office . when i called at embassy customer care they told me that the require 35 business days and update till 25 dec . but my college is going to start in January and college has demanded the confirmation on visa acceptance or refusal till 12 dec . Is there any way to tell visa office to speed up my process or to now the status of my visa application on early basis ??????????
