Hello everyone, i've applied for GCMS NOTE on 11-march-2022 and still waiting for the response.. many people received notes even those who applied after me.. however some other guys like me are still waiting.. what is this issue ? How can i get GCMS notes ASAP.. Suggest a way.. please help..

Are you in or out of Canada? That could be the issue. You need to be a Canadian citizen, PR or temporal resident before you’re eligible to request records under the access to information act on ur own

Actually my friend is a temperory resident in montreal, canada. And he applied the caips from my end.. i used name, address, contact number.. only Email id was mine..

That's strange then ...,.. and did you fill out the consent form?

Ohh yes i remember that i added the consent form with my signature filled with full details... as well..

I requested my GCSM notes at the end of last year and they took more than two months to arrive. As someone advised you, tell your friend to file a complaint... not much else you can do but wait.

I really don't think so... I filed my complain and received a reply a couple of days later saying that they were going to review why there was a delay. Almost a month went by before I finally received the GCMS notes. I don't know if the process would have taken longer had I not filed the complain but it was the only thing I could do to try and hurry the process.

In other words, I would advice you to file the complain... It can't hurt. Good luck!
