Student Visa Extension (Closed WP Dependant)

Hi There - In need of expert advise.

I am on a closed WP, my wife is on an open WP and kid on student visa (Grade 6).

My kid’s passport is expiring in Dec’19, however I have my closed WP validity until Aug’20.

Given situation, there is a need to extend my kids passport and in-turn the student visa.

Kindly advise on the possibilities and process to extend kid’s student visa (path, if available on CIC).

1. Yes, s/he needs a valid passport and a new study permit. (most provinces will accept a minor student on a visitors permit, if the parents have either a work permit or study permit)
