Student visa delay - 40+ days

Harshavardan here. Applied for SDS student visa on June 27, 2023 in Bangalore. No updates post biometrics on July 5, 2023. It's been 45 days but no updates or passport request. My classes start in August. I have submitted all the required documents but still I haven't received my visa.

You need to defer your studies to the next intake as your visa is processed

It starts by end of August...so is it possible for me to get my visa within that?...since it's already been 45 days

Unless they had follow up questions you might not hear from them before approval and PPR. Keep in mind the date for deferral and if it gets close then defer. Good luck, hopefully you won't have to do that.
