Did you received a notification when eligibility review started?
It took 16days for then to issue an AIP after start of review. If thats the speed of their processing then my application has no hope.

No notification, I randomly logged lnto gckey account and saw that application status was updated, it was about eligibility review.

No notification, I randomly logged lnto gckey account and saw that application status was updated, it was about eligibility review.

My eligibility review has not started yet. Seems like the calls they made is for queuing of April applicants only and onwards. Most probably March application are already processed.

Just setting my expectation accordingly. Seems like I’m goin to be force to defer. Your application is applied on Mid march and you have an AIP. Do you think all applicant applied before mid march is unofficially refused else they have AIP now.

No, from Pakistan but the embassy is Abu Dhabi for online applications of Pakistan.

Lets see how many AIP can they issue in the remaining 7days. Aug 23 and 31 is official holiday in UAE.

Online applications for study permit are mostly dealt in Canada or other countries. Some GCMS notes have shown this as well, like Ho Chi Minh, CPC Edmonton or Ottawa in Canada as well. You can only know when you order in GCMS if your file is stuck at Abu Dhabi or some place else.

And why there are so many holidays in UAE?

23 August is Hijri New year but 31 is not holiday as far as I know.

We are all in the same boat.. I am waiting since 24 Feb. We can't do anything other than waiting and once the refund or deferal date arrive and we didn't receive answer, , we will have to defer or request refund.
