Student applying for study permit can apply for spouse togather?

Hi,

If someone is applying for study permit in Canada while he is married. He can take his spouse togather and should apply togather for her temporary resident visa also or Once you are in canada only then you can sponser your spouse??

are you applying for study permit in Canada or are you applying for study permit from outside of Canada..............well if you applying outside for study permit for Canada you can apply for your spouse with your study permit application

no if u apply with spouse chances will very slim to get visa . better to first go alone thn apply her as visitor .

visa officer always consider main applicant, if you satisfy the immigration officer and fulfilled all requirements then you and your partner will definitely get the visa, i dont think so chances are slim if you apply with your partner............

u can always apply with your spouse.

i did and got visas for myself, wife and two kids.
you just have to make a strong case, show strong ties with home country, provide a solid study plan and show enough proof of funds to cover at least a year.

I am pakistani by origin and live in dubai.. what are the means through which we can show strong ties? and we have to show money for one year or whole length of study and residence??

strong ties mean your parents in back home, some property, intention to start a business or get a better job after your study/ work experience in Canada, you need to show funds for first year.........................

Hi Nadia,

If you want to apply for student visa do not hire a consultant... for application and filling so and so if u are not confident enough do hire someone for initial stage... just in case if you are thinking to sent proper documents.. because applying for study is easy.. so i wil not suggest you to hire any representative for study visa..... if you are looking for an institution where you can be able to find off campus work permit you go to the participating institute list of canadain immigration site they shows all the coleges name which are participating and for post graduation work permit.. you must be knowing that the permit will of the same length of study....
