Stucked in Calculation of my Eligiliblity points- not able to lodge my application

Dear All,

the system says I am not eligible to apply as I do not meet criteria of minimum points.

I believe that I have 68 points. Please see my below calculation and correct me IF I am wrong.

1. Age : I am 32 so my points are 15

2. Education : I have bachelor degree in Electronics engineer. Its 4 year degree. I have 16 years education. So I have 21 points. ( 15+21 = 36)

3. Experience. I have eight years experience, so I got 15 points. ( 15+21+15 = 51)

4. I have following score in IELTS: Listening :7, Reading 6, writing 6, speaking 7. If I calculate individual then its 18 points. ( 51+18 = 69)

Please advise where I am wrong.

No. It is calculated individually, you have 18 points there but your calculation for the points given for your age was wrong.

I got it. Thanks. so If I had increased a single points and obtained 67, I would have lodged my application?

Most likely, yes. Assuming you meet all the other criteria.

Can you explain how did you calculate 18 points that you mentioned in your reply?

Would love to see that since many of my friends are reappearing in IELTS just because of that. Come to Canada tool always say ineligible profile and the only factor for which loosing points is IELTS.
