Hi rabzee, I understand what are you feeling for this, there are many layoffs this end of year in the company I work for and they calculate that around 4000 people will be leaving the company between now and the first quarter of 2009. Not good news for any of us....
I asked the following question to Alberta around July not related but it might help...... (my pre-assessment wasn't approved at the moment I asked the question)
Question ==>> I applied for this program because I am an H1B holder, however most probably I'll need to get out of USA around September this year due to visa expiration, and most probably I'll need to stay out of USA for 1 year. May I continue PNP process in my home country?
Reply from Alberta ===>>
So long as you have applied to the H1B SRS prior to your H1B expiring you will qualify for this program, and should be able to process your PNP application from your home country. You will just have to update the PNP officer who is processing your application with your change of address and contact information.
I hope this helps

As per my knowledge; If you will withdraw your Federal Skilled Worker application, before CIC will make any decision, then you will get your refund of $550.00
