Still waiting for AOR

My file was received on December 19 for PNP-Inland at Sydney NS but still no update from CIC.My friend's application was received on December 27 but he has already his AOR today(March 14).I am worried.Please guide.There is not proper mechanism to follow-up.

How should I contact with CIC. On the phone its very hard to contact them and they send generic emails.

My paper file was delivered on November 8, I still not received AOR however I contacted CIC and they replied that they have received my application and it will be processed according to the date it was received which I think the standard reply. My friend's file was delivered in December 2018 and he has got AOR.
