staying address and PR card address different

Hi , I will land soon in Toronto and stay in a hotel, but for PR cad delivery I want to give my friend's address because I will come back to US within a few days and will not be in Canada when PR card is delivered. Is that OK or the officer will ask for one address only and I cannot have different staying address and PR delivery address? thanks a lot
