If you did not live together, you are not in a common-law relationship so you do not make a statement saying you are. That would be misrepresentation. You do not need this form.

Thanks for the reply but he is the one who will give the invitation..but thanks
Ok than mention . You are both nice friends since long and show proofs yoit friendship. Like screen shots ofchatso. Calls etc. But must have to see that if your sponsor can manage tax returns ,. Ties in social funds job .

Okay i will tell him how about conjugal partner

What are you planning to do about conjugal partner? Don't use that term unless you're confident you fit into that category (ie, you're in a marriage-like relationship but due to legal or immigration barriers, you cannot get married).

If you're looking for a way to get a tourist visa denied, basing it on a strong tie to Canada in the form of a spouse is a really good way to do it.

In the visa officer’s eyes, there is nothing to prove about your relationship.

You can mention him in your app and say he is a “friend” or “boyfriend” and the officer will understand it. But as previously said, do not go around telling the visa officer you are common law or conjugal, because you do not fit either description at all.

Also in the end, if you have to rely on someone else (boyfriend, parent, child, etc., whether they are in Canada or not) to give you an invitation letter and pay for your trip, your chances of getting approved for a TRV are very very low.
