Hi Dear, no they just asked for the regular medicals and during that time they just asked if there is any cough or changes I said not. then they checked the X-ray and all good, I didnt re-appeared for the sputum test again. I am in Canada now.
My wife would be visiting the same hospital where she had the first medical and sputum test earlier. Now for this re medical she should tell the hospital that she earlier had done sputum test and repeat x ray and the result was negative and she passed the medical?..Hospital will have her previous x ray and status that she had passed earlier right?..We are just worried that hospital will again ask for sputum test during this re medical
Yes I guess I told them, along with that they just had an x-ray and check the scars if they are increased or not. Dont worry all will be fine if there are no symptoms.

Yes I got that and thats just a formality, dont worry about that. You will have to visit a doctor after landing in Canada and then that doctor will ask about the symptoms etc. Nothing to worry about that.

My spouse PR application was approved and she got her COPR issued.today we received medical surveillance undertaking for inactive TB ..My spouse had earlier completed sputum test for the application and after that she had passed the medicals..Wanted to check if medical surveillance is something to worry?..Will it affect my wifes PR status once she lands in canada..Is the cost of tests involved under medical surveillance covered by BC MSP?

Thank you Anjuji, can you share here your Sputum test Journey, when you went for your Sputum test, how long they took to get your result? Did IRCC informed you about the Sputum test result? did they took xray again when you had your Sputum test ? I am asking this questions becoz my Husband had to go for Sputum test and I am kind of nervous. thank you !

Yeah I got a letter for the sputum test and then I went there for consecutive 3 days. After that I think I waited for almost 3+ months and then they sent me to visit a specialist, who checked the reports and when I told him that I had a TB history. He said fine and updated the results to the portal. After that they had re-xray. Dont worry at the end of the day everything will be fine.
IRCC updated the result I think as Medical passed(As per gcms notes)
I think so far your husband had provided the sputum so dont be nervous, it will be fine.
Nowadays process is also slow because of Covid.
