SPP- what is it?

Hi all!

I've gread and heard about SPP a lot. But all I really kno is that it is an application process for students in china and india . And that applying under this programme results in quicker processing of your application.
My college ppl say to look up about it on cic website. And on the cic site they ask to contact college. Also, I mailed to canadian high commision new delhi and did not get a satisfactory response.
Can you please help?

1. You can apply for visa under SPP category if your college is one from this list of collegs:

Ya I saw so much on site. My Institute is Nothern Alberta Institute of technology, Edmonton and it figures in this list. What now? I just fill in the spp checklist?

P.s. I haven't appeared in Ielts. My school accepted toefl and I was on a tight schedule so I went for toefl. Is it possible to apply under spp with a toefl score?

Well most of indian student take IELTS and IELTS is explicitly mentioned in the checklist for SPP.

Dear i applied for New Brunswick Community college on 27th of june and my this college was under SPP list but on 20th of june they changed the list and my college name was not under new list. thing is this that i lodged my file under SPP and i am woried please help me email me plz visaworld13@yahoo.com thanks in advance

Could you please provide me list of documents to submit to apply under spp. It is said that spp requires less documentation (only seven documents needed except forms). Is it also mandatory to submit income source for funds or not? which extra documents we can submit under spp?

no, just Education loan is enough .
It is clearly said by CHC "no excess document under spp untill requested"

i don't want to take risk in hurry because till is less just 20 more days and i don't have offer letter yet.so, i am going for jan 2013 ,here is my profile.

10th in 2007 -67 % p.s.e.b
12th commerce in 2009 -80% p.s.e.b
b.com regular in 2012 -52% g.n.d.u
ielts -6.5 (L6.5, R6.0, W6.5, S6.0)

i must just worried about my b.com marks ,rest i think is alright.
What you think about it ??
when you plan to go ,I mean which college and province and level of course ?

don't worry, one need to have 50% in bachelors. I am preparing for sept. 2012, PG level, toronto.
