hi,
i am international student here in canada. i came here last month and i want to sponser my husband. what is the procedure and what documents are required to apply his visitor visa. can i apply his visa online.

You cannot "sponsor your husband to be a PR" if you are not a PR of Canada nor a citizen.

If you are talking about applying for his visitor visa, may be take a look at the visitor session of this forum.
 
Would be better to apply for a SOWP but they are not guaranteed to spouses of international students.
