My friend lived in USA and now is applying for permanent residence of Canada under spousal sponsorship. CIC requires FBI clearance upfront and she applied online and received clearance certificate with the logo of FBI via email. now the question is: Will CIC accept it or CIC require an original signature on FBI clearance certificate?
 
It does not need to be original. The document she received is fine.
 
I submitted my document from the online PDF only to receive it in the mail a few days later.

it was identical. what you received is absolutely fine.
