Can someone share about there GCMS notes. I got my notes last month. and at the bottom very last page. i saw notes from immigration officer stating that sponsor is a PR, sponsoring wife, details about marriage etc . number of guests and pics showing the couple celebrating marriage and at the end it says no apparent concerns on file.
Do you guys have something like that as well on your notes ?
we got PPR today. We are extremely happy . After 16 months. We made it .
Thank you all for being very helpful. We recieved lots helpful tips from this forum.
I couldn't thank enough . Be patience guys . There is always hope at the end of the tunnel insha Allah.

My Mrs is in Canada and I live in Dubai. I would have applied for a Visit Visa to go spend some time with her but I believe CIC discourages applying for a Visit when the Spousal Application is being processed. Just going to have to wait I suppose.
they don't really discourage it, but getting a TRV when you have a spouse in canada can make it more difficult for the applicant to convince the officer that they won't overstay.
also, what's the deal with ADVO? i see some applicants being processed within 6-7 months, yet there's people from fall 2015 who are still waiting. i'm being processed at LVO (london). i applied to sponsor my wife in early december 2015 and according to my GCMS notes, they still haven't gotten around to starting work on my file. :

Yes, my point exactly. The option to apply for a TRV is definitely available but chances are slim in obtaining one.
I think that's a question all ADVO Applicants are asking themselves and each other. I would hate to think that applications for the likes of those waiting since last year, are buried under a file of new applications which are being processed faster. It could be many things. We can think of 4000 different reasons that may be causing the delay but I personally don't know why either. I too am a November 2015 applicant, it has been almost a year, waiting and wondering.
I am so sorry to hear about your file as well. I hope they start working on it quickly. When was the last time you ordered your notes? I have applied for my notes and it has crossed two months. I still haven't received them.
