Finally.....but I never knew that ADVO update on Friday the ECAS because they usually don't work on Fridays, are you sure it was updated on Friday morning or maybe it was on Thursday and you didn't check it that day then you saw it on Friday morning ?

No i think it was Friday, because it was Friday morning in Canada's time and Friday night for my hubby (UAE time)
He is the one that saw it He checks very often

Ohhhh alright then it seems that CIC in canada that updates the ECAS while ADVO only sends the updates by email and the PPR. Alf Mabroouk anyway, what about the background check status ? Was it in process before the DM ?

JMZ congratssssssssss bro !!! It seems they are finalizing all the pending applications now. Yeah MyCIC status will take some time to change and you must get a PPR email soon yalla wish the rest a good luck guys !

Ya apparently 2 immigrantion officers work at the application at a time, one in abudhabi and the other in missisauga, so after the ADVO makes any decisions i think missisauga also looks over it and confirms the decision.. thats what i understood from our gcms notes and from this forum: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-im...-explained-has-never-before-until-now.390292/

And our background check was in progress ever since January 2017!!!
