hii guys i have applied for my sowp online application on sep20 2015 still i have not got any updates from cic...but the processing time is showing that they are working on oct 12 2015 applications..??how could it be poosible without getting any update about my application they have moved the process?
i have seen some guys posted on this forum that they got their work permits approved applied after my application date...how it would be possible...?? please help me guyssss.....i have sent gcms request and case specific enquiry but it may take 30 days to get response....but im waiting for any info from u guys please help me....
i have a doubt that if i applied wrong/if i have missed any mandatory docs cic should give me update like docs missed/rejected but no updated my status is showing open.....

I am currently in Canada and applied for my wife's SOWP on October 19th 2015 at New Delhi office.
Still haven't heard from CIC as yet. We had also submitted our e-medical report to save time.
I have also filled the case specific enquiry form but it says it will take 28 "working days" for a reply. Really ridiculous.

Since you are in india, mainly processing time from there would apply.
It is true that CIC has now (since Jan 2016) made it independent of visa office and would try to load balance application processing. Still that is not in individual applicant's control, plus they have had back logs of applications submitted before 2016. So it could take any where between 2-4 months to get it processed.
You might wanna speed up the application by getting medicals done and submit along.
Other than that, there is nothing much you could do except waiting.
