She did not apply from Canada. We applied online, and based on resident address the file is being processed in Delhi.

Nope, not yet. When was your work permit approved? And when did you apply? We are trying to figure out average time taken to process a file.

Time taken to process the file seems like highly dependent on these factors:

• Status of Spouse in Canada
• Education of both personals
• Time left in current work/study permit of spouse in Canada

My application is paper based. I wasn't able to link my account hence I called the IRCC today to know the status. They said I will receive an email shortly about the decision being made and that the work permit should follow in the next couple of days.
