There is no fix time. Sometimes they give in a month...

Hi everyone i want to ask about sowp . my husband sponsored my PR in Oct 2017. In March 2018, I applied for open work permit for spouse. On April 9, I got a medical request for my PR application and i gave the medical in a week. Now, I have been requested for a medical for my open work permit application. My question is: Can I use the previous medical (which I gave almost two months ago) for open work permit? If yes, then how can I upload the proof of medical exam because there is no option of uploading anything in the online application. Should I email CIC? Should I do a case specific inquiry?

Do anyone know why there is delay in processing March SOWP applications??
I have read many post where March Applicants are still waiting for the passport post request. As per CIC current processing time is 10 weeks which is already been over..
Even submitted case specific enquiry and email but no response from them...
Can anyone suggest what to do to expedite the process??
I submitted application on 25th March and passed the medical exam on 30th April after that there is no update...

I see that we both are on the same boat. I applied on 20th December 2017 after which there was no progress whatsoever. I went to the MP after which I got request for additional documents. Its more then a month since the documents have been submitted but no updates yet. Dont know what to do

Hi, my husband and i applied for SOWP on 12th May, 2018. I am on my PGWP and my husband is in India. There are no updates on the application yet. But my husband has not yet done his medical. Could there possibly be a delay due to pending medical in the application. Please advise.
