SIN means social insurance number it is provided free of cost u can search local service canada office and apply

Applied 19th April till now the only update is biometrics completed. We are processing your background check since 19th of April. Who knows how to calculate by week's. How many weeks is my application as at today? Why is background check taking so much time

Is there anyone applied for Online SOWP from India between dates 23-31 March 2018 and received application response? Refused or Visa granted?

From what I could observe, there's a considerable delay in processing of the applications since March, which is definitely an aberration from the preceding period.
