Hi i applied online for spouse open work permit from india on july 29 and medicals passed on aug 4 passport requested and application approved on oct 12 and passport stamped and received on oct 16..

I guess this is for extension applied within canada...
Not for new appl applied outside canada

Yes , it passed 14 week and its 15th week now for my file. but I don't know what they are doing. Are they looking at everyone as suspicious immigrant? a person is living in Canada for 2 years paying each penny of tax to government have good track record and now for most of the applicant they are interviewing his/her spouse and taking so much time to review then what can we say? Canada called abundant refugees in last years and when it comes to international students ... they are taking time. Sometimes it makes me so frustrated.
