I made my application on July-25th through VFS Chennai and medical passed. No idea when they l make the final decision

I got medical request today but I submitted my passport with application at chd without passport medical is not possible to be done what should i do know

I think you can go for medical using a national id, the letter from CIC, and a photocopy of your passport. Where did you go for medical and what did they say?

Hello all,

I am in Canada, BC provincial nominee, PR application in progress, have PGWP that is good for another year. My spouse is in Ukraine and is listed as my dependant in my PR application. He applied for TRV and SOWP in the past and got refused. Can I apply for a SOWP or at least a TRV for him? He will get rejected again if he is a principal applicant, he had too many refusals. But I did not have any yet.

Any advice?

Since you have already applied for PR and your spouse has been included as a dependant, it would be best to wait. Do not apply for TRV; he can apply for SOWP again, but best to wait I think. Good luck!

Thanks. The wait can be for another year though, so I am wondering what I can do to shorten it. Although it does not seem like I have any options left.

Dear Friends,
I have received study permit and I am traveling to Canada in December. My wife is planning to apply for Open work permit and jon me in Canada. We are planning to submit online application. While trying to file application online, she got request to submit below documents:

1. IMM1295 - Application for work permit made outside Canada
2. IMM5707 - Family Information form
3. Passport
4. Digital Photo
5. Request for medical exam
6. Proof of relationship
7. IMM5257 - Application for temp resident visa
8. Latter of explanation

None of the documents in the checklist ask about my study permit/VISA details or sponsorship letter. Also none of the documents talk about availability of funds, proof of employment or any other documents to verify links to home country.

Is this the case with others filing online as well? Or Did she miss or answer any questions wrong that lead to different supporting document requirement.

Hello, I faced with similar issue while I applied for Study permit. This happens some times. You need to raise case specific request and inform CIC about you medical exam. Attach proofs for the same. I have also mailed 'DELHIIMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca' with the details.

It took 30 days for my medicals to get updated. During this time I mailed Delhi immigration at least thrice with my medical exam details.

Also, Do not go for medicals again. It might delay VISA processing as multiple medical records will be displayed in the system against same passport number, causing confusion and eventually delay.
