Spouse Open Work permit

Did CIC delhi verifies the employement of the spouse in Canada in all the cases who got approval in SOWP applicatiion till now????????????

i am a student here started study in jan 2017. I didnt show any employment details

Got my Medical today. Applied on 9th March.

What is approximate time for spouse work permit. I am here in Canada its for my wife and our file for PR is in last stage. I know website says 11 weeks . any comments??

Medical request: 30th May
Medical done: 1st June
Result: Waiting!!!

Did upfront medicals

passport requested on May 19th

Passport sent to Visa office through VFS Bangalore on 26th

Passport dispatched from visa office on June 5th.

Hopefully will get the passport back by this Monday.

Approval has nothing to do with the application type. It doesn't make any difference whether you make a online application or offline. It all depends on profiles and individual applications. Sometime application is delayed because of the any verification issue embassy can have on any of document in your application. So don't worry and stay positive, you will hear soon.

Kindly have detailed look on same, IRCC have provided clear instructions for Medical Examination in New package of application. Upfront medicals were accepted last by January 31, 2017. After that cic have made it mandatory to apply with new application package which don't include upfront medicals.

Thanks for the update, asdfgh123. We decided to hold off the medical examination, until asked for. My wife will be submitting the application soon. Will keep everyone updated.

Medical Examination can be done, if applying for Open Work Permit. You don't need to wait for this.
If you are sponsoring your spouse, then you need to wait for Medical Exam request by CIC
