18 Oct - Applied Online with upfront medicals
10th Feb - Passport request.

I have been researching for few months now and I really want to get some advices. Please help me out. I am from Bangladesh but I am residing in Canada now (BC).

Myself:

1. Post Grad Work Permit
2. CIBC as an FSR (NOC B)
3. MBA from Thompson Rivers Uni
4. Paycheck biweekly
5. Zero savings in my account.

Wife:

1. Residing in Bangladesh
2. Last semester for her undergrad in computer science
3. Ielts (8 out of 9) General Training.
4. Worked as a part time Accounts executive in a marketing agency.
5. Zero savings in account.

So please help me out and let me know on what can be done and what will be my processing time?

If you can demonstrate thoroughly its a NOC B job (Provide detailed experience describing responsibilities / offer letter, multiple pay stubs (one recent and one from the start time of job, T4 / NOA if any) and your wage is better than median for this NOC in your province, you don't really need funds.

You can quote your annual salary in Canada in place of funds available for stay.

Processing time would be listed on CIC website for outside of canada work permits.

Update:
Your wife's education, language test and work experience would just be a positive element and would help with her ties to home country but are not really a requirement. Most people who apply and get SOWP might not work, take language exam or have a professional degree. However, the principal spouse in that case needs to have a strong profile

I jusr received my passport with sowp but that is just a passport no LOi or approvaal letter.
Visa is stamped.

Did you apply online? If you had applied online that WP LOI should come as a correspondence letter in your IRCC account.

Hi just want to know when u gone through medical did they handover medical copy to u as well. My wife got copy of medical but we did nt go through upfront medical, as cic request for medical and she did but i dont understand why they gave copy of medical to my wife as doctor should forward to cic by their own. Do we need to upload that copy and forward to cic ..but how??? and how long it takes to pass the medical and request for passport.

Any kind of help will be appreciated.
