We have submitted my husband spouse open work permit through vfs on March 3 with upfront medicals and its still processing in vfs banglore. its been a month already and have no clue whts happening.

I guess we are all in same phase applied for spousal open work permit in March 2015. Please keep posted if you get any update on your applications.

I have submitted my spousal open work permit on March 27th through Online submission with upfront Medicals to Delhi vfs.

Ind_can : when did u apply?

Sujani - you are the first one to get the update as u applied on March 3.

hello everyone!

I hope someone can give me some advice regarding my situation.

I am currently in canada and my work permit will expire this May 2015 so i applied for an extension of it using my Nomination Certificate. And along with my work permit application, i decided to try applying my husband's Sowp as well. My husband is currently working in Qatar. I applied online last January 15 and until now it is still on process. I'm wondering that if i done it wrong, it should be rejected right away, and i am a bit worried as well that my work permit application will be affected for whatever result that they will give..

My questions are:

Is there any chance that visa office consider my online application together with a sowp?
And if ever that they will reject it, will it affect my work permit extension application?

By the way, i submitted my Pr application last Oct 9 2014, got aor on March 4, medical was done march 28.. My husband took his medical last march 17..

I would highly appreciate any response from you guys! Thank you so much in advance!!

I applied for my wife's open work permit on 3 rd march.....
Paper based ... no reply yet..

Is it difficult to get spouse OWP,... for international students..as compared to working individual?

Hi devangnit, dnt wry.. even i have applied on march 3rd through vfs and its processing in banlgore and the minimum processing time is 2 months. Dont loose hope!!!
