Hello everyone,

Does anyone get an update on their SOWP?

My question is there are a couple of articles where applicants who have already applied for SOWP are now applying for a Visitor visa after the new guidelines from IRCC after 7th September, may I ask is that a good idea?

I applied for my wife on 24th August 2021, bio-metric updated, medical done upfront(Not yet updated-Web form raised), No updates so far.

I am following this policy. I didn't heard any news about acceptance/refusal because policy is announced lately.
We need to wait few more days.
If anybody has any update, plz share it because many people are waiting to apply under this policy.

I tried to login and apply but didn't because the New portal is only for Visitor visa, study permit and supervisa.

I think there is no seperate spouse visitorvisa. My hus applied sowp on may 2021 and as there is no update, he applied visitor visa from this portal. No updates so far. will let u know if any updates received.

No..passed the medical on oct 28th in both VV and SOWP..no updates after that

I am planning to aply for SOWP by myself and wish to understand on fund part. My father wish to gift some money as marraige gift but it's in FD form so can i show his FD along with gift deed in my SOWP file?? Or i have to transfer to my account??

Even Iam on closed work permit and I have applied for my spouse open work permit. Medical received 15 Jan 2021, medical is updated on site passed on FEB 11 2021. There is no passport request after that. Its been 2 months but no update .Submitted Biometrics on 27 Jan 2021 but In online profile it is showing Biometric number and validity but under Biometrics section - it says need biometrics.

Let me know if any one have same situation and any update after that..
