I have asked them about the update. They are not giving definite timeline for the decision. I thought My application was the only one which was getting delayed.

On website its saying they are working jan 17th applications so just wait till they come close to the date when you applied, there is no other way, you just have to wait till processing time their website says

Sure, but i think he is going to hear anything probably after May 20th

Thanks for the link. Isn’t it only showing only the processing time. I couldn’t see anything regarding the their review status

this only shows processing times but you can call 1888 242 2100 and select the options for work permit and their automated machine can tell you about an update about your application

Dear All,

I need a help from your experiences and current trend going on visa processing.
I applied for SOWP as my wife is in Canada on work permit since Sep'18 under the NOC B,and before that she was on student visa from May'17 to Aug'18.
I applied through paper application on 5th April'19 and got request for medicals on 12th April'19.
Medical Passed on 22nd April, since than it is showing that file is under processing for background check.


I have already submitted the PCC and Biometrics along with my application only. So kindly tell me what is the average time they take after Medicals done.

This is the last step .
Even from last 3 weeks my application is in Background check ,waiting for a
