Spouse open work permit guidance

Hi

Me and my wife got married while in canada on Temp Work Permit. I am in skilled category.

Wife has employer specific WP.

I want to apply for OWP for spouse so that she can work elsewhere. We both are in canada.

What form should i fill?

If I were to apply for an open WP under my common law partner, do we need to provide all the common law support/ information as if we are applying for PR?

Yes, if the basis to get the OWP is a qualifying relationship, then you have to submit proof of the relationship.

The link here is for the OWP (just write open work permit or n/a when it asks for lmo/job offering information). It has a link to the Statue of Common-Law Declaration which you'll need to include as a common-law couple.
