Work permit processing times are available online. So wasnt sure is it same for open work permit.

And the timeline shown in website is too long

Processing is for all permits. There is a backlog. If people applying under GSS or LMIA exempt stream (job offer, highly skilled jobs) then processing may be faster.

Many 2021 applications are still stuck

Some 2022 appliactions got lucky. It is all very random

So count on your luck and wait
