Spouse Open Work Permit from India

All,

My spouse has recently got her visitor visa stamped (dependent visa - processed by my company in canada) and she is is India.I want to get her open work permit thing to be done before she fly for canada.

Is it possible to apply for open work permit with me in Canada and she is india ? Or she has to be in canada to apply for it ?

Will it have any impact on PR application process ?

Pls suggest.

She can apply for the OWP from India.

It will have no impact on a PR application.
