Does anyone know if the spousal application can be submitted online or what office should be sent to in case it's only paper based? And what are the main documents that we need to include: nomination certificate, current work permit issued to nominee, payslips, letter from employer, etc.
I'm a provincial nominee and my spouse got refused OWP once due to missing proof of skilled work under NOC 0, A or B, but this is because we did not send the nomination letter and they may have taken it under a different category.
Hello
I got nominated by Manitoba and i work under Noc C. I was unmarried at the time i got my nomination which was last year. So my husband was not my dependent on my nomination letter. Would i be eligible to apply for his open work permit if i work under Noc c. Can anybody respond please. Very urgent. Thanks
Plz like to knw how u solve d problem of having ties like relatives in Manitoba. I don't have relations in Manitoba and that is causing a delay in my application. Your response will go a long way in helping me plz. Thank u
My spouse was nominated by the province of Manitoba to apply for the PR.
Questions:
Could I switch my Study Permit for an OWP considering that we were nominated?

Update: We sent a letter through CIC's web form and they reconsidered the application and approved it. The only document they originally asked for in the application when filing online was "proof of family member status", so we only uploaded the closed work permit. The other point was that spouses of provincial nominee don't need to prove employment under NOC 0, A or B.

I wouldn't say you are switching from one to the other, as the SP and WP are independent from each other. You can apply for the WP while you still have your valid SP. This is what we did and we got the OWP.
A trick I learned: If you are applying for a WP while currently on a SP and you want to do it online, when they ask about your current status in Canada, instead of answering "student" you should answer "worker", and this will let you continue the application online. Otherwise they say you may only be able to get a TRV.

This looks like a different reason for refusal. Order the GCMS notes right away to see if it helps understand the reason.
I'm not sure what documents you submitted exactly, but I would include anything related to your current job and anything that was submitted to get the original work permit. They don't need the expired documents. They don't use your SIN. T4 may help. Are you applying for a spousal work permit of a provincial nominee? What stream and province was the provincial nomination from? Have you submitted the nomination letter along with the work permit support letter and the spouse's valid work permit?

Hi!
I am the spouse of a provincial nominee. We already applied for the PR and I need to extend my work permit. My spouse’s work permit and mine expire both in May. Can we apply both at the same time? Do I have to wait for him to get his BOWP to apply?
