Hi there! Has anyone experience or know someone who applied open work permit for their spouse after nomination? I am planning to apply my spouse but I dont know if she is eligible. Thanks.
I already applied for work permit at the border in canada, my wife is back in my country. Can she apply for open work permit in our home country on the basis of my nomination? Thank you

She don't need any nomination in order to get open work permit. She will be given work permit same as you as she is your dependent. In order to verify this information please fill in the eligibility questionare she will be eligible for open work permit

Thanks for your reply. May I ask if you are skilled? Because I was nominated thru low skilled pilot project. Is my wife still eligible to apply for owp? I read that spouse of provincial nominee can apply irrespective of skill level. But I dont know someone who had a visa thru this...
So, spouses of pnp nominees can get owp? No matter the NOC code and skill?
Did you apply online or at the border?
My husband is semi-skilled. I am in Canada on a temporary resident visa as a visitor. We re going on a vacation in August and will be returning in September. He could have his nomination by then, so we are thinking of applying for my OWP when we come back, at the border in Vancouver.
hi, iam helping my uncle with his application
so situation is he already nominated in new brunswick,.he is also skilled there,.but since he has 3 kids my questios are:
1. can he apply open work permit for her wife and how about the kids?
2. is there income eligibility or show money maybe?
your reply will be greatly appreciated
