October 11, 2018 received application
February 4, 2019 started processing
March 6, 2019 Additional requirements required
April 16, 2019 medical request
May 8, 2019 medical results passed

My problem is that my passport will be valid til March 2020. Am i going to renew it? Thanks

You should renew it, my partner who is a Filipina also renewed her passport 3 weeks ago as her current one was going to expire in 2021, she will pick up her new passport next week. If you don't then your visa will be valid until March 2020, looking at your timeline, things are not going very fast, hopefully things will start rolling for you. good luck.

Yes, you should... Once you get the new passport, scan it and send it through webform to CIC...

Hi, need help on pre-departure requirements. I just recvd my passport stamped with a working visa. I have an approved LMIA. Ung spouse ko working visa din pero open work permit sya.
Ang tanong ko po, ano pong requirements ng immigration? Kailangan po ba namin ng PDOS? Sabi kasi sa CFO, ung PDOS is for immigrant or PR status lang. Not for temporary workers. Hope someone can share their experience on pre-departure.

Hi i have the same our application is transfer to manila from Mississauga, and about the letter that i asked like a couple of weeks ago i havent recived them yet, and on my ecas its in process last june,20 and i haven't heard from them since, no email no nothing

Mine din po ganun din. June 25th received an email tgat our application were transfered to manila visa office.. Til now wla pa nmn update but it's okay.. Let's have faith . Fingers crossed makakamit din natin ang success sa application natin

June 11, pa po naitrasfer ung saamin sa manila, then i check our ecas beacause i cant link our app in gckey, so i check ecas na in process na daw po ung june 20 ang papers pero wala pa ding update. Up to now

We received document request from manila VO. I was wondering what is the preferred method in sending the documents? I guess we have three options:

-email
-gckey
-vfs

I was thinking to just email them but I am not sure if that would be the slow option.

I have paid biometrics fee and forwarded the receipt to ircc via webform last july 2nd but up to this day, I still haven’t received biometrics instruction letter yet. I am kinda paranoid coz I only have until july 28th to submit my biometrics.

Maybe that deadline is for the payment for your biometrics not the biometrics itself,
