Hello guys.
Need ur help..Well I am planning to submit my application next month for CEC.but I have big confusion about accompanying my wife because of age factor....Recentally I got married in pakistan and In our tradition usually we get married in early age....
My wife she is in pakistan and she is 15 and half year old and we legally married...
My question is, it is possible to mention my wife as accompanying dependent ??( as per PR eligibility requirement is that spouse should be 16 or older).
Or I wait until she turned to 16 then I mention her as accompanying dependent in between my application process..does it work?
You must mention your spouse on your application. However, she can't be an accompanying dependent until she is 16 as far as I can see. You can mention her as not accompanying and then request to change her status to accompanying when she turns 16.

Thanks Leon...
Let say at the moment if I mention her as non accompanying dependent and after 6 month when she turn 16 than I change her status as accompanying. In this way my application will take extra time(6 month more) OR my decision will made within expecting time and her decision will be saperately later on???

Looking at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm-ec.asp the processing times for CEC is 12 months so it is very unlikely that you will somehow get a decision within 6 months.
Second, as a non-accompanying dependent, she will also have medicals and background checks so changing her status to accompanying should not be a big deal and should definitely not delay your application by 6 months.
