We have done court marriage in October 2016 and then submitted our file.
Then after that we got married ritually in January 2017. But we did not inform Visa Office about that.
My wife got an Interview call at New Delhi Office for June 2nd, 2017. She appeared for the Interview and Indian woman was the interviewer. As they did not know about our January ritual marriage ceremony so my wife told them about that. Interviewer got upset about it not informing them but in the end asked for January wedding pictures.
It's been a week and half we haven't heard anything from them. So We don't know what's going to happen.
Did anyone ever experience this situation. Some tips might help us to reduce our tension.
Was there any other reason to think your wife got refused? Was she able to answer all questions, what proof did you have of relationship besides court marriage and ritual marriage. Did she have photo's? How many times have you visited each other? All that counts towards genuine relationship.
You should have informed them of the ritual marriage as soon as it happened. A court marriage for a couple from India is outside of the cultural norm and anything outside of the cultural norm is a red flag for a Marriage of Convenience.
At this point, you need to just wait for IRCC to contact you.

They have recieved no letter as yet from ircc and what he did was his fault for not notifying about the traditional ritirual wedding they had in January 2017 because when there is changes your suppose to tell them
Sorry now I'm getting two posts confused. Yes I agree tho. It clearly states if anything changes..and. this is a huge change. They hurt themselves by not sharing with cic.

It makes it hard to appeal because with ircc and cic they can come back and say hey you did not inform us about the changes and about January 2017 ritual ceremony and they consider that misrepresentation right

I'm going to chip in here with personal experience. We applied inland, not sure if that changes things as OP is outland.
We submitted inland after civil (legal) ceremony. One year later, while waiting for PR, we had a wedding ceremony. We did not notify CIC.
But, we did get a spousal interview, after receiving AIP (not sure what the outland term is). I'm not sure whether this spousal interview was a relationship interview or QA interview because they didn't split us up to ask all those personal questions. Though, she did ask us why we didn't wait to submit application till the wedding ceremony (fair question). The interview was overall positive, as we got AIP (again!) 30 minutes after via email and DM less a month later.
It is not misrepresentation to NOT report a wedding.
