Hello guys. I am from the Philippines and I just got married to my Canadian citizen boyfriend. We would like to be together as soon as possible as long distance really makes it hard for us. What is the fastest way for me to visit him? If I am his wife can I apply easily for tourist visa? Or spousal sponsorship?

He needs to sponsor you.

No, you can't easily apply for a TRV. Being married to a Canadian actually makes it harder for you, as it shows strong ties to Canada.

Can be 12 months or shorter or longer. Assume 12 months and hope it's faster.
