Hi everyone im married and leaving in bc Canada with my wife and kids but we send hower applications in to cic and we received an e-mail confirmation that our application has already been received by CIC and we have a temporary application number and I try bring my visa and driver's license from my country and the form whit the application number to try get a driver's license but they won't give it to me because I don't get my UCI as yet .my question is how can I go about getting a driver's license is it possible your answer will be good to my thanks
The letter you received from the CIC for the acknowledgment is called AOR (Acknowledgement of Receipt) and it should have the UCI # in there on the left top corner along with the Application number. You can use that UCI #

OP referred to a temporary application number. This isn't AOR, it's a new pre-AOR message that is being sent. This doesn't mean that the file is complete or that it has been accepted for processing - in fact, it says that it isn't yet deemed complete.
