Hello,
I'm new in this forum and I got a question for one missing information. I'm the sponsor for my spouse.
I'm filling the form IMM 1344 (Application to Sponsor, Sponsorship Agreement and Undertaking). On question #7, it asks for the date when I obtained the status "Naturalized Canadian Citizen" and asks for the UCI number (my client ID). I lost my citizenship certificate (or is it called immigration certificate?) so I cannot find this information. I still have my citizenship card with the issue date in year 1998 (doesn't show exact date). I followed my parents to immigrate when I was young (not required to take immigration exam for me).
Questions:
- Do I need to provide the copy of my citizenship certificate for the application of my spouse? or my citizenship card is sufficient?
- Do I need to apply a copy of citizenship certificate with this link?
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...dian-citizenship/proof-citizenship/about.html
- Can I put the date 1998-**-** on the form?
- If I really need to apply a copy of my citizenship certificate, can I apply it with my spousal application at the same time? because it would take around 5months for a copy of citizenship certificate.
Thanks a lot
