Hey wise and experienced immigration folks,

I have a couple random questions I'm hoping someone can help me with.

I was (finally!!!) able to link my PR application to my account. I did it using the application number provided to my spouse in an e-mail from IRCC and my passport info. He received the AOR e-mail on August 9th, so it took 2 weeks of attempting daily. When I went into the application details, it shows that the UCI is different than the one he received in the e-mail. Is this normal? Because he's a "different" unique client than I?
So when I try to link my OWP (submitted with the PR application), I'm unable to use the same application number as the one for the PR application. Does anyone know what the best option is for linking the OWP? Is it on a different linking timeline than the PR app?
Most of the time estimates I've seen regarding the OWP say 3-4 months--is that from the date the application is received?

For linking OWP please use UCI number and last name in caps. You can refer to the below link for tips.

It usually takes 2.5 months from AOR date.

I need to know that my application was submitted 25 sept 2017 and we have passed medical and submitted additional docs by Nov 2017, but since then the status says background check will start.
We received pre arrival email on 14 aug 2018, can anyone predict what can be expected next?

Morning everyone.

i am a little frustrated about the wait. i have DM on both side since July 25. i have heard nothing. my ECAS shows the same info since then, Sponsorship and PR got approve back in MAY. my question is:

when do i start counting my year mark/ as i am a bit confused and fustrated. i havent seen my son in 2 years.

My wife is a Canadian citizen and I am a US green card holder and I live in US and she is in Canada and planning to be with her and live in Canada but need also to be in and out cause I have kids and work in US so any info or help what to do to process my papers will be highly appreciated

Agree, but my wife had no passport, we found out that a PCC is required. AND PCC cannot be given there unless 1 has a Passport. So she made a new Passport with my last name on it.

I would like to know if the fee of 1040$ is still valid to reapply?

My wife and myself got canada pr. We are thinking of applying sponsorship for my brother in law..

Pls let me know, if i can do the following

I. Can we sponsor pr for my brother in law?

Ii. Can we apply for any work permit for him?..

Any input would be of great help...
