But, didn't they changed the timeline frame last year. It's no longer 26 months but 12 months.

That is the target for apps submitted after Dec 2016. Apps submitted before then still show the posted processing time of 26 months.

1. I don't think you need it. In one of the forms there will be a question about visa denials where you will answer YES and explain why it was denied in your opinion (e.g. you didn't provide enough documents/evidents)
3. I created a Word file with text, photos, emails altogether.

It means they will send you a request for your passport soon. You mean This November right? Because last November was in 2016 and that’s too long to be waiting

Quesssstion , after applying for sponsorship, and is approved. How long does someone have till they have to come to Canada.. person is in Egypt.

It's up to you. My husband checked "proceed ..." option.

Check "withdraw". "Proceed" should only be checked in the extremely rare situation where a couple knows the sponsor is ineligible but are requesting processing based on H&C grounds.

I have asked this previously about the converstaion using social media. Did you go back as far as 3 or 4 years (i could be reaching asking but I wanna make sure) of conversation and print it or you only used the recent and the not so recent ones (last year)?

Hi im about to submit our spousal visa application with my husband to the VO. However, there are some small confusions on the imm 5476 (use of a representative) on the type of application to use. I was just a bit confused on what to write? is it family class sponsorship or spousal sponsorship program? The other one is form imm 0008 (generic information) in the personal details of dependent child asking for UCI. Do i have to put N/A or just leave it blank? I am just so cautious on the best information to fill.up since we know that visa officers are so keen on the forms and one missing or errors found, application is refused and documents are returned. Hope to receive feedback from you guys. Need help. Thanks.

If you don’t have dependent just put n/a. It’s family class if your spouse is outside Canada.

Does anyone here who has the idea that the philippine embassy will require a cenomar (certificate of no marriage) to the principal applicant who is a filipino and holds a Philippine passport? Does cenomar has expiry period? I have an original copy of the cenomar but its dated january 2015. Is this still acceptable? Or should i request for a new one?

Hi! In the form imm5476, use of representative form, my husband told me to write in the type of application portion on section A no.3, Spousal Sponsorship Program. Is he right or what is the best answer to put? Is it to write Family Class only? Please need all your advises. Thanks in advance

Hello, my wife(PA) recently got the AOR and I also got an email saying my application for sponsorship was received. Does the one I got correspond to SA? or I should expect another email with regards to approval of my sponsorship application? The wording was different based on the Sample SA in the spreadsheet.

We sent our accomplished application form but not without help from this forum. Thank you very much.
